I finally finished watching this show and thought that I should write down what I think about it because ………
The show is bad
It is not comparable with previous season. The level is not the same as the previous season. There are not really any outstanding performances. If season 3 is a season where the best compare to be better, then season 4 is a season where the lousy compete to be decent.
The more prominent figure like A-lin got a poor score for singing her best song??!? From the start, it’s too obvious who are the prominent figure and the shows keep asking them to performance over and over again.
There are too many foreigners this time around, with 1 Japanese and 1 Vietnamese who both struggled with Chinese. Amazingly performance can ‘touch them’ and make them cry.
About this crying, too many people cried in this season including the audience. How can anyone cry after 1 minute into the song? I refuse to believe that I have lost my emotion and fail to cry like the audience and participant.
There are also too many “volunteer” groups that perform also. The show even gives them credit when they are performing. Isn’t this show about an older “sister” trying to perform again and the inclusion of a volunteer group will cloud the decision of the audience? For example, 1 of the performance had 100 people singing in the background and the song got a really high score.
