My 2nd son has recently graduated from confinement period and we started to bring him out more often. We finally have the time to go and complete his library registration process.

The initial registration is done via the lifeSG app when you are registering for the birth of your baby.

Registration done via the app

The process is rather simple and can be done easily.

Email from NLB

I receive my email approximately 5 days later stating that my membership has been activated. However, I did not proceed to the library until weeks later as I want to bring my baby along to take photo.

The QR code provided in the email did not work and I approached the staff directly. The kind and helpful helped me create my baby’s membership card and a bag with a book.

My goodie bag.

The book looked slightly too tough for a baby to read though. I prefer my first baby’s library book though.

I add my library card to google wallet.

For Android phone, you can add the library card to Google wallet. There are probably iOS apps but probably not free(pass2u?). You can always save it as a normal photo though.

Do sign up and borrow lots of book from library. (Do take care of the books though)
