It’s been a while since I last visited Gardens By the Bay using my company’s corporate pass. The corporate pass has been updated to include Cloud Dome. However, you still cannot visit Cloud Dome during the “peak of the peak” period (aka 4-7pm on Friday-Sunday).

Nevertheless, we went earlier than usual. As we went earlier, you can also access Supertree because the Christmas Wonderland has not been set up. (If you go later, your access to the place will probably be blocked).

This year’s Christmas theme for Flower Dome is weirdly Poinsettia Wishes. Not exactly sure what this means but there are many little Vikings as part of the decoration.

The Vikings, together with the Christmas Tree, seemed to be the main decoration for Christmas. (Probably they don’t want to over-compete with Christmas Wonderland?). I’ve visited the flower dome so often that the decoration seemed to be decorations for the sake of decoration. Nevertheless, this is the 1st time I see someone using Vikings and Christmas as the basis for the Christmas theme.

Generally, the theme is only in the usual spot in the centre.

Next, we headed to Cloud Dome. I’ve finally tried out the avatar experience. Originally, entrance to Cloud Dome would be charged $15 per pax even with the corporate pass. The layout of the Cloud Dome does resemble the world of Avatar. Some of the exhibitions were definitely quite cool.

Overall, I do enjoy this. (Without paying extra money). Garden by the Bay is slowly becoming a usual trip where I bring my kids to visit. It also allows us to beat the hot weather and there are a few food options around. Definitely a nice place to visit get some Christmas Festive mood.
