I finally visited the Candy Snow House at Changi Airport at Terminal 3. This event lasts from 4 Nov 2023 to 31st March 2024. This is an indoor “snow” playground that features actual snow (not soap/bubbles but actual ice). At $18, this is relatively much cheaper compared to the snow playground at Marina Bay Sands. There is no difference in price between kids and adults and both cost $18.

The glove is also a “must rent” at $3.50 as it is quite cold, but the earmuff is optional (can only buy it at $6.50 and not rent it). My kid is around 2 years old (around 90-100cm) and he can fit the glove and jacket but the earmuff is too big. You can also rent “water proof pants” to use for slides inside the place as well as socks. But I highly recommend you to bring your own socks, extra jacket and long pants (or thermal wear) before visiting this place.

I’ve got the jacket, shoe, glove and earmuff.

Weirdly, you cannot take photos inside (for safety reason????) but there are “professional photographers” around to take photos and you can buy them at a high cost. So if you plan to buy the photo, do ask them to take more photos for you and they will send you via Google Drive subsequently.

Your pants may get wet from sliding.
The place is not very big

The inside of the place is around the size of 2-3 basketball court. There are not a lot of things inside to do especially if you are an adult. It is quite cold and the 1-hour duration for the ticket is definitely more than enough. I do feel like leaving after 15 minutes inside.

There are a few “activities” that you can do inside. They are quite lame and probably finish within 15 minutes. You can find them on the official website.

My photo was taken by a “professional” photographer
Price of the photo

There is an arcade/carnival before you enter the place. There seemed to be a shortage of part-timers as a single staff need to man 2-3 booths at the same time. This may result in some wait time. You can only buy tokens that are $10 worth. So I had $2 worth of tokens remaining as my 2 rides cost $4 each.

Overall, I do enjoy this place. I’ve visited this place on a weekday and there are barely any people. This made it even more enjoyable and I do recommend people to come. Considering the same place at MBS costs $2-3 times more, I think people can consider coming over to this place instead. However, do note that there are hidden costs that are not included in the ticket.
