Chinese New Year booth at Chinatown is rather depressing this year. There are only 2 streets worth of bazaars. It used to be at least 4 or 5 streets. Most of the things are rather generic and there was nothing much to attract my attention.
There are lots of people though. Most people seemed to be doing window shopping and soaking the CNY mode.

There are CNY snacks that are selling for rather cheap. I did not really buy any since my whole family is down with sickness.

For the dragon display that looked like a Japanese guy, I realise the issue is overly exaggerated. The dragon looks ok if you view it from the side. I have always wondered why nobody wants to improve this type of display to have moving parts, or LED display for the eyes or face.

Still it definitely doesn’t feel like CNY if I don’t visit Chinatown at least once.
