This is supposed to be Singapore’s largest nocturnal Experience but I found it to be so underwhelming. There could be people who did enjoy this, but it isn’t for me.

This event starts on 23rd August and ends on 7 September 2024. This event is inspired by the concept of play and childhood of the late 80s and early 90s. There are various activities like performance, light exhibitions and even amusement rides.

Light projection on the church

There are many activities that can be done but most of them are really far apart. 1 of the “better”projection mapping should be this on the CHIJMES building and it’s quite overrated. It’s not exactly something that I would specifically come and view as it’s just a video on the wall.

Events stretches from fort canning to bugis
1 of the random lighting
Another light display

Most of the exhibitions are underwhelming. Can you imagine walking 5-10 minutes just to see these?

There is also a paid section with some amusement rides that you can purchase on Klook. This section costs $25 per pax and comes loaded with 10 credit (not sure how much each ride cost)

Wrestling event??? But you can watch it from outside without paying
A church choir

There is also a church choir beside CHIJMES. This place has an aircon that lets people cool down in the midst of all walking.

Overall, at least most of the things are free. Since it’s free, you should still come visit even if it is underwhelming. But do check out the website https://www.nightfestival.gov.sg/ to know exactly what you want to visit before coming down.
