Ramadan 2019 has started and this year again at Geyland serai and I finally went to take a look yesterday. The place is the same as usual years but this year seemed a little bit better than last year.
Personally the food price seemed to be cheaper than the last. All the Instagram worthy ate the more pricey food. Malay food are just slight more expensive.
Unlike few years ago where Halal food is questionable, the organiser has done their sure diligent to ensure that all food are halal certified. Ultimately, it is still up to you whether you believe Chinese food are halal.
There was a tent that was particularly big and had sitting space with portable fan.
There was also a tent with starry lights. The tent seemed to be creating a Artbox style.
The funny thing is there is a Uncle Ringo booth. This include several ride as well as these game booth.
At the end of everything, I only bought vadai to eat. 4 for $3, cheaper than most of the over charged Instagram photo food.
