It’s been such a long time since I really blog. I have been so busy with my life and have sort of lost my motivation to write anything. My medium channel is also dying with a lack of updates. So many things have been happening in my life and I wanted to use my rare relaxation time to simply rest and play some games.
Anyway, last week, me and my wife decided to head to Photopia at Orchard. They have several branches and this is my 2nd visit to Photopia. Generally, you should book a slot on their website before visiting. The price and stuff are listed clearly on the site. It’s cheaper if you do not need to collect all your digital copies.

I went over to take a “maternity” photoshoot before my baby is born. I do like how the photos turn out at this place. This makes the whole experience nice for me. It makes me feel that I am going to a photo studio on a budget.
If I take 100 photo,s there are bound to have 10 photos that turn out nice.

When you enter the room, they will show u a timer that counts down 20 minutes. They will pass u a remote for you to take images. Once the image is taken, there is a larger screen for you to preview the images.

After the photo session, you have 10 minutes to choose the photo. (they don’t actively track the timing here). You can choose some photos for them to print out depending on the package that you have chosen. There is probably no need to print many photo as there will send you a link on either whatsapp or email for you to download your entire photo. (This is an additional cost but you can print the photos at much cheaper rate outside).
The photos generally turn out really nice. As someone who has done several photo shoots (marriage and baby), I already know the type of pose to do for a photoshoot. You can also do some research on Google before visiting this place. Like I said earlier, if you take 100 photos, there are bound to be some nice photos.
Generally, I do recommend this place (or any other self-photo booth). It may seem like a gimmick but I really enjoyed my time here. I also had a few photos that I really like and have framed them on my own wall at home.
